We’re “Green”
the Candlery™ strives to be environmentally friendly. Our products are shipped using water soluble cornstarch packing peanuts and recycled shredded materials. As other similarly friendly packing products are found we’ll use them too.
Sometimes we use shredded newspaper. If newspaper is only going to a landfill, we think it should at least be shredded first.
For our in person customers: the Candlery™ is reminding their customers that they can return empty glass containers for credit towards their next purchase. There is a nominal fee for this service. the Candlery™ has two reasons for doing this:
1. To recycle glass containers whenever possible.
2. To see how each fragrance and wick burns in the Libbey glass they use. This helps them to maintain the high quality of their products.
